Tips for the proper maintenance and safekeeping of your silverware!

The process of cleaning silverware should not be done too often because it can alter their appearance. It is good to do it once every one or two years.

It is better to protect them properly than to tire them with frequent rubbing that will damage their surface. So keep them in a drawer or cupboard after wrapping them with a cotton cloth that will keep their oxidation away. Do not leave them forgotten and unused for long periods of time as they are more likely to rust.

Proper maintenance of silverware requires that the environment in which it is stored be dry. A damp area will accelerate the appearance of rust on the surface. So you can leave some chalks next to them that will absorb the excess moisture and will make sure that they remain intact. So, the next time you take them out to clean them, you will have saved yourself extra trouble!

Once you have cleaned and polished your silverware, it is time for a trick that will protect them from the dull look. As the conditioner protects your hair and rejuvenates it, so it will work on your silverware. So apply a small amount on their surface to prevent the blur from appearing again.
